About me - Dr Michał Charytonowicz

Welcome

I am a certified plastic surgeon. I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Wrocław Medical University. In 2006-2011 I completed my specialization in general surgery at the General Surgery Department of the MSWiA Hospital in Wrocław and then at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Department of the Teaching Hospital in Wrocław. I completed my plastic surgery residency at Wschodnie Centrum Leczenia Oparzeń i Chirurgii Rekonstrukcyjnej (Eastern Poland Burn Treatment and Reconstructive Center).

Since 2013 I have been working at the Plastic Surgery Department of Prof. Orłowski Hospital in Warsaw, where I currently hold the position of Senior Resident.Since 2014 I have also been working as Research and Teaching Assistant at the Plastic Surgery Department of the Postgraduate Medical Training Centre in Warsaw. In 2015 I joined the team of Dr. Marek Szczyt’s Plastic Surgery Clinic.

I authored publications and conference communications from the field of plastic surgery and burn treatment. For many years I have been regularly participating in domestic and international courses and congresses on plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine.

I am a member of Polskie Towarzystwo Chirurgii Plastycznej, Rekonstrukcyjnej i Estetycznej (Polish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) and of Polskie Towarzystwo Leczenia Oparzeń (Polish Society for Burn Treatment).

Plastic surgery is a medical branch that has been developing dynamically and that requires continuous acquisition of knowledge and experience. The above goal is realised through my research work and presence at Polish and international conferences, both as a participant and speaker. My selected publications and lectures can be found below.
